I'm predicting Good Magic will not run in the Preakness.

He ran his heart out to finish 2nd. I was very proud of him for giving me a nice payday. I was confident on his in the money finish when most handicappers dismissed him. He was almost 10-1.

He's not going to beat Justify. For the betterment of the horse it's time for a little rest. I'd skip the Belmont too.

Diamond King is in and Bolt d'Oro may run as well.
M. Smith suspended but he can ride in designated events.

Trainer Mick Ruis said Bolt d"Oro is definite for the Preakness unless the track comes up sloppy.

No decision made yet regarding Good Magic. Decision day is Monday. He will not run in the Belmont, per trainer Chad Brown.

Diamond King is also definite for the Preakness, per trainer John Servis.

Lone Sailor, who finished a respectable 8th after much trouble in the Derby, is a Preakness possibility.

After 25 consecutive wins, Aussie horse Winx is now officially the number 1racehorse in the world. She is a superstar over here. Is she known among racing enthusiasts in the States?

I never heard of her.

I do not think it's a fair comparison since this is a mare who only runs on turf. Turf racing which I love BTW, and dirt are two different games.

This would have been a better link to post:

Pre race odds and post positions come out tomorrow.

To answer your question maybe it's Lucas talking him up after his surprising Derby finish?

They are calling for rain straight through the week here, especially Thursday and Friday.

Don't be surprised if all the good turf races that are sure to be scheduled get moved to the main track. Good chance for sloppy conditions - again.

Good Magic is in, Bolt d’Oro is out.

Lone Sailor will get a new rider - Irad Ortiz Jr. Good move if you ask me.
