An Oregon resort preparing to open a new golf course said players will be offered a truly unique experience -- goats working as caddies.

The Retreat & Links at Silvies Valley Ranch in Seneca said the new course, McVeigh's Gauntlet, is due to open later this year and the resort is currently training goats to act as caddies for golfers who take on the course.

Ha! Can't wait to hear what animal rights freaks do about this (eg: Making slaves out of goats now, are we?)!

All fun and games until the goat decides to take a dump right at the tee box of the 11th hole. Also, caddies do more than just carry your stuff. I highly doubt the goat will help you find your ball or give advise on course conditions.

There are a few in the Pinehurst area that use llama's. Very interesting experience.
