I'm a big wrestling fan and am looking forward to Wrestlemania, its odd that there are so many wrestling events and organizations yet no one talks about this form of sports entertainment.
I have tried to start discussions about pro wrestling/sports entertainment on here many times, but there are quite a few self righteous snobs who just don't get it. While historically I am old school and prefer the old territory days, I think the WWE is very good right now. Other organizations like TNA do not measure up and most independent groups are very bad. The great hope is Billy Corgan who bough the NWA and is going to try and revamp it. He's rich and intelligent enough to compete with Vince.
With dozens of Wrestling alliances, televised events every night its odd that no one talks about the profession.
,
I'm hoping to see a few title changes in the upcoming wrestlemania, i'd really like to see Lesnars WWE Universal Champion go to some one who shows up on a regular basis rather than just a part time champion.
Going to be fun to watch Rousey kick Stephanie all over the ring.
I'll definitely be watching on my WWE network.

I lost interest in the WWE many years ago. At 57, my "heydey" was decades watching the likes Bruno Sammartino, Chief Jay Strongbow, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, Don Moracco, Pedro Morales, etc. I watched for decades, and probably two of my favorite WWF (there, I said it -wildlife turned it to WWE) stars were Goldberg and Lesnar. I loved the NWA with the Von Erichs vs. The Freebirds.
I think my biggest turnoff is taking the Soap Opera outside the ring and making these storylines etc. seem less like sports entertainment to me.
I'm just hoping for clean and honorable matches with no injuries and aren't decided by the refs
Thats doubtful as those kind of matches went out with titles like the tv champion, now its all carefully scripted and choreographed to maximize emotion from the fans.
