The 1st Grand Slam of the year.
A lot is on the line.
Federer and Djoker are both going for Number 7, and the standalone AO goat status.
Nadal wants a 2nd and the Double Career Grand Slam.
Murray would like just one.
And we have the NextGen biting at their heels.

Interesting stages of the tourney.
Cilic just survived against the always dangerous floater, Fernando Verdasco.
A couple of no-name Aussies into the 3rd Round as well, in Alex Bolt and Alexei Popyrin.

Verdasco served a double fault on match point in the 4th set, giving Cilic new life.
Verdasco really wears his heart on his sleeve, and he was utterly devastated.
But I find Cilic has more potential to impact the tournament than Verdasco (in my opinion), so I liked that outcome.

Defending champion Federer is out, beaten by NextGen up and comer, the young Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas:

Last year's finalist, Croatian Marin Cilic is also out, beaten by a solid and resurgent Spanish journeyman, Roberto Buatista Agut.

Great interview with Johnny Mac as well:

Zverev and Raonic looked like polar opposites in that match, Zverev unprofessional attitude.
Lendl can't feel good about this guy.
