I'm thinking especially of practicing Catholics who are required to attend Mass weekly. Searched the web on this issue diligently to no avail.

Recall Sandy Koufax refusing to play on certain days because of religion, but I'm thinking more in terms of those who have to practice their faith on a weekly basis vs. the team's requirements for meetings, travel, etc.

If this is more appropriate in a religious forum, please move.
