Bit tardy, but several are now off the Derby Trail. Of those I'd only wager on Signalman and Gunmetal Grey. Future bets are generally east money for the house.

Signalman races tomorrow. Viewable on Gulfstream's live racing. One track that has not gone with websites which require viewers to live in states that have horse racing.

Baffert has three of the top Derby horses.
Game Winner 9-2
Improbable 6-1
Mucho Gusto 12-1

Running over wet turf at Rosehill Gardens, Winx went her final three furlongs in 36.98 seconds to tune up for next weekend's George Ryder (G1). Beyond that, the 8-year-old, on a 31-race win streak, is expected to appear April 13 in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes (G1) in her likely career finale.

Winx to win both.

The old lady at age 8 is now retired. Here is Winx last career race as she goes for 33 in a row.

Sadly I failed to follow the 2 year olds. Who has scoop on the Derby?

I am leaning toward Roadster, a Baffert horse that is undefeated this year. However Mike Smith chose to ride Omaha Beach.

Last year E.O. picked a tri and I followed him with a tri box. The box is only $6 and paid $119 with a 3-1 favorite. So far the favorite for this year is 4-1. So a similar tri box would pay over $119 for a $6 wager.

Omaha Beach is now out of the Derby due to a breathing problem that can be corrected with minor surgery....
