Anyone watching? I am getting a "kick" out of it. NBC-SN is carrying it on Verizon FIOS (Ch. 590)

It's fun to learn a new sport, even with no risk to my joints.

Are you watching it live? Those matches start pretty early or late depending on your point of view.

An awful lot of people are watching - just not in the US! I saw England v the US and I thought how marvelous it was to see a US team taking part when the sport is such a minority sport 'over there'.

I've got the DVR spinning wildly. Only game the machine missed was New Zealand vs. Canada.

Several games were cancelled, because of the Super Typhoon, Hagibis taking aim on Tokyo/Yokohama this weekend. Drat.
England vs. France, a match I was particularly looking forward to, was cancelled and scored as a draw.

Tokyo has more to worry about, though. I recently watched a series detqailing the 4 cities most at risk from rising seas. Tokyo was among them with risk mostly from several/many flooding rivers feeding through the city.

19 dead and counting.

Well done England - we don't play them often enough.

New Zealand will come back stronger, they usually go through phases like all teams.

The New Zealand fans were a credit to the nation and were singing along and having a drink with the England fans at the end of the game.

Sadly Wales didn't make it to the final, so it's England v South Africa in the final.

England v South Africa final, for once the rugby might even push the football off the back pages. The first 10 minutes of the game v New Zealand saw the English team play some of the best rugby I've seen! Let's hope for a good final.
