It is a very violent sport and injuries happen all the time.

If you hit someone on the street in the head with something as heavy and hard as a football helmet you would soon be in state prison. On the street or the football field any human being has the right to defend him or herself. Scuffles occur often in contact sports.

But to pull a stunt like that and then blame the victim, that goes beyond lame and stupid.

But then again the QB was white. Thus all the support for that coward.

Then comes the "he called me the N word" Even if he did, is it worth throwing everything away? Maybe prison time? Where's the proof?

You can bet the farm that dirtbag wouldn't have done that to Cam Newton or Dak Prescott
There were "witnesses" (Lineman right there) within milliseconds of their first contact and this "racist slur" thing should be easy to confirm or not.

Rudolph wasn't a victim, he's a part of the guilty party. The NFL didn't handle this whole situation fairly. Goodell made a snap judgement because this made national news and felt it ruins the NFL's image (but they've done a great job of doing that themselves). And, also how do you know what Garrett would've done if that was Cam or Dak?
