Great question, given the downtime for many.

Baseball: Major League

Football: Rudy

Basketball: Hoop Dreams

Hockey: Miracle

Great Question I agree

SO let me think about this one for a minute

Baseball: This is the hardest one to pick, being a choice between Pride of the Yankees and Field of Dreams BUT I think the award has to go to BULL DURHAM

Football While I liked Draft Day, and the sentimental favorite of Blind Side, having grown up in small town Texas I am taking FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

Basketball Inside Moves all the way. A story of people, personalities oh yeah and a few of them love basketball. The dream one has of playing in the NBA becomes the dream of all of his group.

Hockey OK I plead social ignorance here. My old lady showed me Mystery Alaska onetime and hey, it was entertaining.

Football- We Are Marshall
Hockey- Miracle
Baseball- Cobb

My opinion, Rocky is still the greatest American sports movie, but not relevant to Big 4 theme

I'm going to give you Kudos as well. This is fun to read.

Mine:

Baseball - A League of Their Own

Football - The Replacements (Gene Hackman is the coach in this) - Rudy a close 2nd.

Basketball - Hoosiers (Can you believe Gene Hackman is coach in this one too? We've got a trend here.)

Hockey - Mighty Ducks

I only have an answer for Hockey, because I don't usually watch sports movies. I did like both these Goon movies though.

Goon (2011) & Goon: Last of the Enforcers (2017) starring Seann William Scott. It had a good cast.

Football - Invincible / Rudy / Necessary Roughness - all three have decent stories that flow nicely.

Baseball - Major League - "Pedro Cerrano", enough said.

Hockey - Miracle / Slap Shot / Goon - all three have decent stories that flow nicely.

Basketball - The Air Up There - only one I like.

Yup, nothing comes close to "Major League" for baseball comedy. While I still say "Rudy" is the best football movie I've seen, I did forget about "Invincible". That's a pretty close second.
