The World Games 2022 opened on Thursday, July 7th and run through July 17th.

For those not familiar, these are games under the IOC umbrella, but featuring sports not typically seen in the Olympic Games. They are held every 4 years (the year after the Summer Olympics). Starting in 1981 in Santa Clara, CA, they haven't been back on American soil since then!

Plus CBS Sports Network will feature a one-hour recap of the day's events every night at 10:00 pm.
