None of those. Now that they've included beach volleyball, I vote for adding mud wrestling and Wii championships.

NASCAR???? You're kidding right? NASCAR is not a Athletic sport, it's a motor sport of driving in circles, just not that physical to be called a athletic sport.
I think they should keep Baseball and Softball but the whining international community doesn't like the the fact the USA always win, so it much be cut. If you want to cut something cut Badminton and Ping Pong, replace them with horseshoes and lawn darts.

Has the addition of various sports by the IOC been skewed toward "White guy" sports lately? Throw a little ping pong and badmitton to the Chinese and that's it? How are the Arab and African countries going to ever win a gold medal in winter sports?
Sand dune tobogganing? Why only in the snow? I did that in the Gobi desert. Very memorable.
But why not focus a bit on what some other countries who win no medal do? Affirmative action? Nah. It could be cool. It is only fair.
Olympic Mountain Climbing? Give the Nepalese a chance for gold.
Seriously not meant to be racist, but why not have the spear in the javelin scored for accuracy like actually hunting. In the old days did you really care about how far you can thrown the spear verses whether you can hit the animal you are hunting? When you go fishing, it is about catching a fish, not how far you can cast.

Is it any less athletic than riding a horse? Archery? Shooting skeet? Shooting a pistol? Sailing?

How about pole or lap dancing? Mens and womens. Of course we would have to have a minimum age.

Sailing yes, you see what these guys do, well in sailing is pretty much windsailing/surfing, which there happens to be alot in the olympics, don't know why. I seen some of this yesterday when we won gold and you had to be very strong, can't comment on the other sailing though as I have not seen it (not too sure if its only windsailing). Definantly have to be athletic.

Well I'm here to tell you that you have to be athletic to race a car competitively too, and I've already explained why previously in this thread.
Some forms of sailing you have to be athletic. If you're one of the guys hoisting sails up and down and keeping them trim, that requires some athleticism. But in yacht sailing, some guys just sit on the windward edge of the hull and act as ballast. Another just turns a wheel. And in small-craft solo sailing, you usually have a block-and-tackle pulley system on the sheet to help haul in the sail, and when you want to set the trim, you just take the sheet and lock it in a set of sprung cleats that will hold it in place for you. It doesn't take a lot of athleticism to do all that. Hell, there are guys in their 50s sailing competitively in the Olympics.
