LOL as far as I know...no...I think we clobbered them. It's just that in the inane medal count, I'd rather Japan got a gold than China keep racking them up.

If that were true, they would have to kick out diving b/c the Chinese are dominating in diving. I chose lacrosse but if I knew I could choose 2, I would've chose rugby also.

I was thinking Jello wrestling. Jello could sponser the event & run their commercials between matches. Bill Cosby could be a guest commentator.

Once upon a time, there was an Olympic rule that in order for a sport to be considered, it had to be played in 39 countries. Of course, that doesn't count for anything, as I challenge anyone to name the 39 countries where "synchronized swimming" is even known, let alone participated in. But I suppose the IOC would look the other way--as they do in almost every other instance--if backers of a particular sport threw enough money in their direction.

They've on been dominating diving at best since 2000, there have been alot of other winners from other countries but lets not get into that discussion again.
Anyway I read in the paper that there is a shortlist of 7 sports for the 2016 Olympics, I'll read through again and try and list them
