Default Team Handball

Have any of you watched team handball games in the Olymipcs? It looks like a fun game to play. It's cool because it's like a combination of soccer and basketball.

I don't get it ... they bounce, they travel ... don't get it at all. Looks really rough though. The Germans and the Koreans were really going at it. The Germans were really playing rough.

I've watched some. Had a passing interest for some time. I think the thing about the dribble is you only have to do it every 3 steps.

Hey Mike, someone should try to put together a good comprehensive (and up to date) list of groups playing in the US.

It has to do with some of the penalty situations, and putting the ball back into play a little like a free kick soccer or iceing in icehockey

As a Dane and a Basketball player I can tell you Handball is a fun game. I am personally in favor of Basketball because it is smoother and more rythmic, but handball is FUN, much like ice hockey with a nice mix of speed, strength and skill and that poor goaly that just gets wacked!

When I played with my Handball playing friends I would always get a kick out of getting as close to the goal as I could before launching the ball at it

It would be awesome if someone in my area would start a group. I have WAYYY too much going on to start one myself but I'd for sure play.
