Default Favorite Event in the Olympics?

Since the 2008 Beijing Olympics are going on right now, I thought I would start a thread involving them. So, What is your favorite event in the Olympics?

My favorite event is the swimming. Man, Michael Phelps can swim!

Swimming - Michael Phelps is going for the record 8 medals so should be fun to watch I hope he does it he is the best swimmer I have ever seen but the US has such a strong swim team

Athletics - all the track and field events are fun will be good between the US and Jamaica

Ladies Beach Volleyball - half naked ladies

Sorry that's more than one but these are the main three I will be watching.

I'm a bad sports fan; I'd rather do them than watch. I will happily watch gymnastics (can't do it) and sometimes diving. I don't care about anything other than gymnastics, but diving can kill an hour if there's nothing else on TV. Funny thing is that I used to be a diver.

I totally agree about Michael phelps being the best swimmer! Geez he's fast! I sure hope he wins all 8 gold medals. That would be awesome!

Athletics, that's for sure. Can't wait to see Tyson Gay and Usain Bolt ... it's going to be a race for the ages.

Surprisingly, I love to watch trampoline ... I can't believe it, but it's amazing.

It's odd.. I like (mostly) men's teams or events when I watch pro sports. [WNBA (except Candace Parker, eeehhh.] But I'll watch almost any women's sport in the Olympics.
Favorite Olympic Sports?
Swimming - Both male and female. Wasn't that men's 4x100 freestyle relay exciting?
Track and Field - Those female runners have great looking legs.
Women's Gymnastics - Those little woman can do amazing things.
Women's Beach Volleyball - Those tall girls are hot.

I just get mad when Americans lose in any thing. Aren't we supposed to win all of the medals?

It's nice that you enjoy the girlie show Some of the men don't look bad either

Watched greco roman wrestling this morning. Our Spenser Mango is a ball of muscle ... I don't quite get the sport, but he was giving everything he had to a Romanian guy.

Watched the China/Spain basketball game. The refs did everything to practically give it to China, but Spain prevailed in OT. Spain has an amazing 17 year old point guard .. look out NBA.

His record will never be surpassed. I guess.

My favorite event is badminton.
I like this sport. I often play badminton with my friends at leisure.

Is there anyone in American like this sport ?

Ps, I come from Guangzhou China.
