It'll be a boring book since he claims to have no knowledge of TW's shenanigans, unless he was lying when Tiger made his comeback.

1) There has been about 15 posts in the last month in this thread which isn't that bad (not to mention other golf threads on the front page)

2) the creation of a sub-forum would lead to more traffic and attract new posters

3) it would project to have more posts than subforums we already have

4) a lot of people here would enjoy it (see the poll results).

I have no idea why you, BucFan, seem to enjoy playing the party crasher so much. But hey, party on.

I think having a sub would also allow those who are interested in golf to put up more topic specific posts (i.e. equipment, tournaments, news etc.). Right now, because its in the general sports section, you get a lot of these in one thread...which can be hard to follow.

watching Jason Dufner playing in the PGA....I'm wondering if there are other "bad names" for golfers - I once played a few rounds w/ a guy named Ned Hack. Hooker, Duffy are two other bad golf names - any others? I guess "Woods" should be a bad name as well.

I used to post on THEGOLFCHANNEL's message board... but they shut it down. I don't know if there is an alternative.

Oh - in terms of golf, there are plenty of golf specific forums. GolfWrx is one that I frequent often. But I also enjoy CD... and it'd be nice to talk golf on CD as well.

Did you know? That Wisconsin has 4 of the top 100 golf courses in the world more than another state in the US. As rated by The PGA and not some magazine.
