The best way to get it added is to post about golf-related topics right here in the main Sports forum - with these three new sports sub-forums added, other sports can be more visible. That's what increases activity and attracts other posters. Once there are enough threads, we will add it as a sub-forum.
Okay we will just post new threads in sports category.
Haven't been able to get back into golf with temps below 35... but just started to look for a new golf bag, and can start feeling the urge coming back. Hopefully, the Mid-atlantic can get the season started sooner than later. Our courses aren't even open given the ground is frozen.

Try living in Minnesota. We have to resort to the local golf dome unless we're lucky enough to drive 14 hours south.
I live in FLA and have golf burnout - no golf since June 2014....and I probably could play every day if I wanted to....having a forced break from the sport for winters as you northerners have is probably a good thing for your games......you shouldn't ever suffer from golf burnout.

I think there's some truth to that. I know I would get golfed out at times here if I played too much.
Anyone ever play Pebble Beach? basically after fees, tips, taxes and food and drinks, you might as set aside $1,000. I plan on playing it just once in my life, I am a horrible golfer right now about a 25-28 HCP and once I can get that down a little bit I plan on flying out there and playing a round.
I would love to do the same for St.Andrews as well.

I'd rather play Cypress Point, but I do know PB is $495 for greens fees.
You're right after everything though just getting out there it would be around a grand.
Or you could do like Bobby Clampett did when he was a kid and just jump on.
