I should clarify, there is the arrogance but I suppose it's based on the fact he as been so successful. It's just annoying to me how his caddy is such a A**hole. Even though Tiger disagreed with his comments about lefty I think he feels the same way. Like anything I feel ESPN bends over backward to kiss his butt, which is annoying

If you don't appreciate watching him you are missing a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing. Granted if your not a sports fan, you probably don't get it, but if you appreciate the game of golf, in any respect, you have to like, or at least appreciate Tiger Woods. He has a quiet cockyness to him, I agree, but I can't fathom hating it.

I actually really enjoy Tiger, I like watching his professional approach to every aspect of his game. He is always looking for a way to get better and is hard on himself. How anyone could call him overrated is beyond me, then again you provide no evidence in your OP, outside of rambling.....

To me he seems more cool and businesslike than arrogant. I respect his ability as a golfer, and his dedication, but I find him kind of bland and machine-like, neither especially appealing nor especially unappealing, because of his dry demeanor. I don't see a lot of arrogance, though, no reason to particularly dislike him.

I don't know that much about his caddy, but do think he should keep his mouth shut regarding Mickelson. I have no idea how Tiger feels other than the fact that he said the comments were inappropriate and that he respects Mickelson. If he doesn't like him, then I give him credit for having enough class not to say so. That's a tough position for him.

ESPN does kiss his butt, but they do that with superstars. They did iit with Jordan. I'm not sure that's the player's fault though.

I can understand what you mean about the response to him being so successful. He's an outstanding player. I find myself at times pulling for him out of appreciation for his skill and at times pulling for the underdog to beat him.
