Football more popular than baseball? I find that hard to believe, but I guess in some parts of the country that could be true. I'm from the northeast, and baseball is king, but just moved here to the southeast, where football may be more popular, especially college football (which holds absolutely no appeal for me). I love watching the NFL but college to me is amateur hour.

Trust me.. with all that propaganda/hype the superbowl gets, it's got to be the most coveted sport.
My favorites are:
1. Hockey
2. Football
3. Baseball (Used to be #1 but slipping as I get older)
4. Nascar? (I'm not a fan but I think I read somewhere that it was up there)
Yeah this poll is scewed (Sp?) anyways if you live down south most likely it'll be football as top choice. In the North its Hockey. Basically it aint true. BAsketballs only big cuz of the colleges. the NBA is so wacked. Traveling everywhere.

UFC Crap is like in the 100s for me.
I believe MLS and NHL are tied for that spot but the MLS is growing in popularity at such a rapid rate that not only will it surpass hockey, it will surpass basketball as well.
Auto racing is not a sport so it doesnt deserve consideration.
Soccer is the 4th most popular sport...at least. MLS, unfortunately, has not converted all these fans to the home league, so it's difficult to gauge overall.
no matter what everybody says on this thread it most likely won't matter cuz everyone has their opinion as the favorite sport.
