Belmont Park Spring Meet starts on WED 02MAY
Gearing up for the Belmont Park meet that starts on Wednesday. Belmont is the greatest sports venue in the NY metro area if not the USA. The Belmont Stakes 2004 had the greatest sports event in NY history, there was 120,000 fans packed in there. Thoroughbred racing is a massively underrated sport thanks to media neclect. However thouroughbred racing is currently more popular than the ball sports worldwide. 700,000,000 watched the Melbourne Cup, half a billion more than the Super Bowl.
Ponies is the only sport where you can take common sense, discipline and knowledge and walk away a rich person. Don't be a dummy and watch commercial after commercial at some simple ball game. Don't be a fool and pay $100 to watch grown men play child's games. Get into the game yourself, learn the form and with time and patience you can master handicaping the most beautiful of gods creatures. This is a sport that engages the fans, not like baseball, football etc which only engages the wallet. The wagering at Belmont is the best in North America and it is only $2 for a prime seat over the finish line.
