neither tell the truth. i dont like hockey(i really hate turning on a fight and watching a hockey game break out), and all star games tend to be two groups of prima donnas getting on the field of play and going through the motions. there are really only two all star events i will watch, the baseball all star game, and the nascar all star race. in both events, the competitors will put their best foot forward and make something of the event.
The hockey all-star game has stopped being such a snooze/score fest since they decided to award the winning conference the extra home game in the Stanley Cup final. With something on the line, it's become a much more competitive outing (though still mostly a no-hit affair).

It was painful to "watch" the NHL all star game. I tuned it in for a couple minutes and that was all I could stomach.
Didn't watch the NFL AS game at all but I heard it was equally as cringe worthy.
