MNdad is on a distinguished road
If you didn't work at the hospital I would say to never mind about icy roads. It is once or twice a year and EVERYTHING closes down if there is even a dusting of snow.

But, you have to get to the hospital, as do I, for work.

That nay be true some winters; however, there are times you are already at work and then the ice hits before you can get home...NOT a good drive no matter if you're traveling 25 miles or 1/4 mile.
