My Son makes $2,000 a month during Tourist Season.Winter time he makes $200 a month. But he enjoys being down on the river all Summer and not having to get out in the Winter.

But my wife would like to have Steady work with half way decent pay and Benefits but there hasn't been anything like that in the last few years.

If a company would come in offering $8 an hour starting out with Benefits and regular Raises they would have more people than they could handle willing to work.

The problem is that the workforce is so transient that pay raises are generally never given because people don't stay in those jobs very long. Same thing goes for getting your deposit money back on an apartment. Lots of renters just high tail it without finishing their leases and so the landlords just get used to keeping all that deposit money.

If I didn't feel this way, I'd be following another location on city-data instead of Springfield.
Me too.
