My dh and I went to Springfield about a month ago, dh had a job interview. We fell in love with Springfield and the surrounding areas! He didn't get the job, and we cannot find any other openings in his field there. Because of this we are sad, but are very glad we went to your wonderful city.
I had been reading everyones posts for about a month before we went out, and Springfield was just as you described, and better. Everyone we met was so kind, and the area is beautiful. Springfield truly is a big small town. It is the perfect place to live and raise a family. I just wanted to thank everyone for their posts and let you know how lucky you are to be living there!
Dh has an interveiw in NE Tenn soon and we hope it is similar to MO! Every city we look at moving to, we now compare it to Springfield. We have yet to find a place as great. It is on our list of places to retire (we are 20 years away)!
