October 17th...Jumping on it.
Well, not being one to waste time on decision making, how about we just say October 17th? That would be the second Wed. of October. We want all of the newcomers....present and future we can get.
Besides, then you might be able to meet LJ and rest of the gang (sans me...I'll be in Las Vegas).
So that would be:
Sept 12th Wed. 10:30 Churchills Coffee on Republic (east side of Republic..east of Nat'l)
Oct. 17th Wed. 10:30 Gloria Jeans, Branson Landing (next to the Hilton)
I didn't notice any time discussion, so I picked something appropriate for coffee.
I also suggested GJ's on the Landing. Parking is easy in the AM and we should have gorgeous weather that time of year for an outdoor gathering.
What say everyone?
MrsC
And oh by the way...I won't be making the Sept. coffee club meet afterall.
I broke my ankle and I'm not ready to go public with the crutches. That's why you haven't heard from me in several days. Stepped in a hole out at the old watermelon patch.

I'm not sure but last weekend when we were at the Landing GJ's had a sign up and was closed for remodeling, not sure how long.
MrsC, you take care of that ankle and I bet you could find someone to help ya or carry ya into the gathering. Listen to me, I'm not even up there and voluntering ya'll for something...

Ok..I can't count
Ok..caught my mistake..
Sept. 12th second Wed. of the month Churchills on Republic Ave. Springfield
Oct. 17th third Wed. of the month. Suggesting Gloria Jeans on the Landing
..if the one next to the Hilton is under remodel..then
the other one between the water feature and Bass Pro (Pro Bass?)
Or Keeter Center..they have GREAT coffee and pastries.
What say everyone..? Is 10:30 ok?

You're a hoot, L J! Gotta love ya!
Okay...
So on we goooooooo
Her welfare is our concerrrrn!
No burden is sheeee to bearrrrrr
We'll get therrrrre!
By the way, I found this info on the web, which seems especially appropriate:
" The title came from the motto for Boys Town, a community formed in 1917 by a Catholic priest named Father Edward Flanagan. Located in Omaha, Nebraska, it was a place where troubled or homeless boys could come for help. In 1941, Father Flanagan was looking at a magazine called The Messenger when he came across a drawing of a boy carrying a younger boy on his back, with the caption, "He ain't heavy Mr., he's my brother." Father Flanagan thought the image and phrase captured the spirit of Boys Town, so he got permission and commissioned a statue of the drawing with the inscription, "He ain't heavy Father, he's my brother." The statue and phrase became the logo for Boys Town. In 1979, girls were allowed and the name was eventually changed to Girls And Boys Town. The logo was updated with a drawing of a girl carrying a younger girl added."
Love, love, love your post! I'm off to get something done and singing all the way!
