Well, I'm home from our trip to Columbia, MO and am finally here with the photos!

Here's a pic of (Mr.) Left Coast Escapee and his family. Mrs Escapee is very pretty and I wanted to be sure ya'll got to see her since she couldn't be seen in the group photo. Beside her is their son followed by their daughter, granddaughter and son-in-law.



As much as I dislike being in front of the camera, some "helpful" person, who shall remain unnamed , offered to get behind the camera. (And I thought I was in the clear with Boof gone!) Anyway, here I am with my beautiful 81 year old mother, who is visiting from CA and has been known to lurk around our site a little bit , and of course, our own beautiful Lake Junkie, looking stunning in her beautiful peacock blue top & scarf!!!



These three beauties are (from left to right): Gripster2, G4inMO and Darlynn0217. Sorry, guys...they're all happily married!



I'm looking forward to the next event in November and am game for a Saturday pizza event. I hope we can get more new people out and especially hope to see some other family members, too!

I also want to suggest the idea of waiting until January to meet after that. I think we'll all be busy with the holiday events, shopping and festivities in December. Am I right?

Lake Junkie and all...when is the November meeting and where, for sure? Is it Sat. Nov. 10th? Darn, I'd love to take a drive 'down' there and see y'all. Maybe even visit a relative of mine and make a weekend of it. OK?

LJ & MrsG, great girls!!! Looks like I've got some serious competition. I'd better polish my lenses and make sure the zoom works. MrsG...your reprieve was only temporary. bwahahahahahaaaaaaa

As for the place, it don't make me no nevermind. I'll just be excited to see ya'll. It'll be sooo cool to get to FINALLY meet Gripster, NV, Darlynn, and maybe ....just maybe our fearless leaders....Jams & Da Caveman Alas......we've got a while to wait until our beloved CBM & NB Eric are able to come....but, it'll be worth it, right?

Okay, no prob, L J! I certainly don't have a problem with meetin' in December. As a matter of fact, I'm always happy for another chance to see you, dahling! I was just thinking of others whose schedules are busier than mine. Actually, I'm like, "Did someone say, 'Cookie exchange???!!!'"

I agree...it was fun and I'm always amazed at how compatible we all seem for such "strangers". Of course, we're breaking all the anonymity rules that are usually assumed for a forum but it's seriously working so who cares? Not me!

It sounds like the 10th is quickly becoming a reality, Voyager! You are seeing it take place before your very eyes! Hahaha! Since you'd be coming quite a distance, would you like to suggest a time of day? We'd love to see you and want to be sure it fits your schedule, if possible!
