Nope, it's about an hour and a half away. Maybe I can talk my daughter that lives up there into coming with me. She hasn't meet anyone up there since she moved..

It sounds like you are in AR because you said, "up there". Does your daughter live near Branson? Rather than drive alone, do you think your dh or a friend would come?

babyfaceminerals will become famous soon enoughbabyfaceminerals will become famous soon enough
[quote=Boof;1973495]Ok gang, here they are.....Pix o' da gang....

The newbies: BabyFaceMinerals and her 'main sqeeze'. Nicer people you couldn't meet. I'm so glad they were there!!!!!!!

Mr & Mrs C. They are so fun to visit with...many exciting & interesting stories to tell. They used to be in a Cooking club....boy what fun that'd be, huh???

L-R: Little Miss Lollie. (She's a soon to be member. I think 'Lollipop' would be a great username.), Our awesome Darlynn....What a sweetie!!!, and of course, Mr. Minerals....hehehehe...sorry, didn't know what else to call you. (We were born in the same city). Small world, huh?

Everyone looks great but OMG, this one pic- I look like a dear watching a mack truck coming my way! LOL!
At least my babyface hubby looks good, he just had his 43rd B-day today! We went to the Lonestar for all "he" could eat ribs and gave us a huge brownie sunday with 4 spoons that was awesome.

Blessings All!

Just keep an eye on that camera when I'm around 'cause it might just grow legs and walk! Well, let's be honest, I'd never do that...but I might bring some TAPE for that ZOOM button!!!

I do believe you ARE my #1 fan...I just want to protect the others from having to look so closely at this mug!!!

Tsk, tsk, Shadow!

You are my Sunshine, my only Sunshine....you make me happy when skies are gray......

Congratulations on your 2nd Anniversary! Why, you're just young'uns!

I pray you'll have many, many more anniversaries to come! I'll tell ya...manogamy rules!!!
Well, we're young at heart and mighty old-fashioned! I'll hit the Big 4-0 in seven more months, and Mrs. Northbayeric is exactly two years and three weeks up on me. I married late and she was definitely worth the wait. She is SOOOOO wanting to become a Missourian, I'll tell ya!

Please keep praying for us! We would love to start a new chapter in our marriage by getting our place sold here in CA and getting good work and a wonderful new nest in St. Joseph. That's where we think our Good Lord is leading us.

Yours in monogamy advocacy!
North Bay (for now) Eric

Wink So nice to not have to stand in the corner any more!

Thank you too Boof for your best wishes for us! Even though I'll be 87 and my better half 89 by the time we celebrate our golden wedding anniversary, it'll be wonderful just getting all or most of the way there. God be willing, we will sure head on down Highways 29 and 13 from St. Joseph to join you all for Over the Fence Coffee Club gatherings (I'll probably stick to iced tea or hot herbal tea or even a big glass of lemonade depending on the time of year! ) We can stop by the Osceola Cheese Factory and buy some extra goodies on the way too.

Yes, I'm in Arkansas, but it's not that bad of a drive. I might be able to get dh to come. My daughter lives in Branson area and runs a tshirt shop downtown.

I agree that it isn't a very flattering picture of you, Babyface, but the good news is that we have several others that show what a beautiful woman you really are!

Seriously! "Baby face" is an appropriate term, girlfriend! Btw, send our belated happy birthday to Mr. Minerals!

Okay, Boof...you seem to still be feelin' mischievous ...and singing a sweet little song won't get you out of trouble after "giving your blessing" to ShadowMan. Don't you be encouragin' him, girlfriend! Do you want me to banish your big time zoom camera from future events??? I didn't think so! Now, go be a good girl!!!

And yessss, Shadow can come out of the corner. Didn't my post come through on that? I had a little browser crash of sorts and I bet that got lost in the process. Sorry, Shadow! Thanks for the reminder, Boofmeister!

Your comment on being old-fashioned is one reason why you don't belong in CA and do belong in MO, Eric! I will keep praying!

Talking Cannot wait to get to MO

Hello coffee club. I have been lurking for a few days and decided to say howdy. I will be moving to Springfield soon. We have been planning our move for some time and are almost ready to pack up and go. We may even be moving in the winter, my all time least favorite time of the year to move. But...We are so excited about Springfield. The city seems to offer a lot for its residents. Beautiful country, a not too big-not too small metropolis, university, parks, lots of recreational possibilities including hunting and fishing and camping, lakes and rivers etc. We have spent 10 years in the desert and yearn for the green of home and the change of seasons. Hope to join you all in person if the coffee clatches continue.
