Ditto what Sassy said, MsAbbey!
Welcome to the forum! How exciting for you! So, what's keeping you from moving right now? Btw, as for moving in the winter, at least you're in the south and there's less chance of the serious winter weather that they have up north. ![]() I lived in Las Vegas back in 1978 when it was a pretty good place to live...and still affordable! That was a loooong time ago! I know it's changed a lot since then! I guess it's been about 5 years since we were last there but it's obviously different visiting than living there. So, tell us...what brings you to our lovely state? ![]() |

Sassy...get some balloons and clowns and kids and dogs out on the lawn to draw attention to your "HOME FOR SALE" sign! Shoot, bring the whole circus! I heard there are some "drunk" elephants running around somewhere, with no Paris Hilton to take care of themParis Hilton doesn't help drunk elephants - 15 Nov 2007 - NZ Herald: World / International News |

Welcome MsAbbie and Thirtyish! Let us know when you arrive and we'll plan an OTFCC meet around your schedules. While we were all sort of hesitant about meeting "chat-people" face to face it turned out we are all normal (more or less)
We moved to Las Vegas about 5 years ago from Northern Cali. (Pleasanton). Turns out alot of the OTFCC folks are from Cali. We moved to the Branson area this past April. Love it here. Bunco...did I hear someone mention bunco? You betcha....I'm in. Last edited by mrschilicook; 11-15-2007 at 12:57 PM. Reason: typo |

For those of you who are interested in getting together in December the following plan was agreed upon:
Date: December 15th (Saturday) Time: 2:00 pm Venue: Coffee/tea, etc. at the coffee/pastry bar. Location: The Keeter Center (Point Lookout/Hollister) Special: A Cookie Exchange It was suggested that we do a headcount of attendees and each of us bring that number of baggies each containing 3-4 of our favorite cookies. In other words, 12 people attending would equal we each bring 12 "baggies" filled with a few cookies and everyone goes home with 12 little bags of special cookies. Keeter Center is located in front of the College of the Ozark. Located 2 miles south of Hiway 76 (Branson strip) on hiway 65 to exit Bus. 65 to the right (straight just past the lights). So mark your calendars, dig out those favorite cookie recipes (or call your favorite baker and come play with us at The Keeter on Dec. 15th.Happy Holidays! |

Thought about running around the front yard naked as a jay bird, in hopes someone would buy my house just to get me out of the public eye. But noooooo! Would only scare buyers away. ![]() Working on another offer right now. Hope everything goes well but mortgage companies are playing on a different level now. Keep your fingers crossed for me. ![]() |
