Thanks for all your kind words, everyone! I know it was off topic so I'm grateful you indulged me. Boof, you're always such an encouragement to everyone and I appreciate you!

Bentaxlecrew, I'm with you...I love old things and hate to throw them away if I don't have to! Thanks for commenting on the freckles. They weren't on him before but he just looked like he should have them! Hahaha! Maybe he's an Irish caterpillar!

L J, you don't need a thing but wouldn't it be nice if it were as easy for US?! Shyeah!!!

G4, we're gonna hold you to that! Hope all is going well with the kids' return to school!

Now, where were we? I think we were talking about the Over the Fence Coffee Club, right?

Question September's Meeting?

Does anybody remember if we had decided on a date for the September meeting? I've been trying to find it...
Third week?
Friday AM?
Somebody pick a date & time...

LOL Shows how dense I am...LOL I thought it was for this Friday...the 24th. LOL SUPER DORK ALERT!!! Maybe we should call a special meeting and time it for CaliBassMan's arrival. That'd be fun. BassMan??? Whaddaya say, do you think you & the Mrs. could spare an hour or two?

If not, then the 3rd Friday of Sept. is fine with the ol' Boofster. That'd make it 9-21-07, right? hehehehe Timewise...somewhere around 10a or later is best. But, I'm flexible, so whatever works out for the majority is fine. Just be forewarned....if it's too early, I just might show up in my PJs.

Tossin' in my two,
Boof

I guess he's a caterpillar instead of a worm, but ain't he cute???

I have no idea how old he is but those eyes look pretty old to me.
His head and antennae bobble, by the way.

When I found him in the yard under an old oak tree,
I had to make a decision to either paint him or toss him out.
I'm glad I painted him!

I have these really cute PJ's that look like clothes. I like the fireman drill example, got to bed with the same clothes one goes outside the house with. The only thing is, I actually did try that once and the fact that I knew I did it, made me feel insecure, so I drove back home and changed my clothes. . But one time I did wear a robe only to drive my son to his carpool ride house and ran out of gas. That was before cell phones and I had to knock on a stranger's door, and ask them to use their phone and call my husband for help. THAT was horrid. I was so emabarrassed.

Default Takin' roll...

OK but I'm not goin out in my pj's.
Not to the mailbox.
Not to the grocery store.

Last month it was the 2nd Friday am.
Now...Friday mornings? At Churchill's Coffee in south Springfield?
First Friday?
Second Friday?
Speak up...
I'm takin roll:
Boof?
Mrs G?
Gripster?
G4inMO?
Jammer?
Lake Junkie? Oh, that's me. I'm in.

What about the rest of you'ns....?

I can't commit to that day but I may still be able to make it. I'll have company around that time so I will have to play it by ear. If I miss it, I'll plan to see ya'll in October!

And I'm with you...no pj's outside of the house for ME!

LJ, MrsG....what a coupla fuddy duddies!!! No PJs?!?!?!?! Humpfh!!! LOL Well, I'm gonna wear my Garfield PJs, and you'ns are gunna be sooooooo jealous. hehehehehehehe I'll have to bring my 'Big Stick' of course.....what with all the men rushin' over to meet me. ROFL

Is everybody dead set on Fridays? Would it be possible to toss out Wednesdays as a compromise? We can make it the 2nd Wednesday of every month....and keep it there....barring of course any emergency changes that might come up occasionally.

LJ, MrsG, MrsC, Jams, Gripster, Donna???.....Anyone?

I vote for Wednesday, Sept. 12th, 10am, Churchill's Coffee in South Springfield.

With that...I'm gonna hit the hay. Garfield has been hollerin' at me for an hour! hehehehe LOL

Nighty G'Nights To All,
Boof
