Well, sorry, folks! Due to the wet weather we've already had this afternoon and the following radar map, MrG and I are gonna bow out of tonight's event.
He said he almost slipped and fell on the ice just gettin' out to the car a bit ago, too.

I'm sorry, I know I should have written earlier...

Hope ya'll have fun!

Talking OTFCC rides again...

OK...I'll be first to report in!

Although the photos were taken by califolkie's camera...she'll have to post them!

It was a nice dinner, getting (once again!) to meet newcomers to the area that (like me!) fell in love with Table Rock Lake on a visit...and MOVED here!!!

Mr. & Mrs. ChiliCook, Mr. & Mrs. Califolkie, Darlynn & Myself enjoyed a delightful dinner at the Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks...

We tentatively planned a coffee club meeting for March 12 at 10am so we could get everyone together again...at the Jazz Cafe off the square in Ozark!

Everyone who might attend...please give your thoughts about the date & time...if that doesn't work we can ALWAYS try something else...

Well just checking in again. Well LJ.. I won't be getting into town on the 12th until 8pm. I am taking a trip back to CA. One of my nephews is getting married. This will be the first time my entire family has been in the same place since I was in High School. I will keep checking on what the final decision will be.
Hope everyone here in the CD family is doing well.

Hey, L J! So, how was dinner? Was the food good? Tell us about the ambiance. We need details!!!

I checked my calendar and saw that March 12th is a Wednesday...and that works fer me...so I'm IN!!! I have thought of going but haven't been there before so it'll be great!

Anyone have an ETA on those pics from Califokie???

Thumbs up Keeter Center

Yes, the Keeter Center is always awesome, tho I've never seen it so empty! They said folks had been scared off by the weather, even though it was fine that night.

I'd love to see the photo...Mrs. C & I were leaning quite a bit to keep from showing any chin...

Default Keeter and March...

Keeter (Dobyns Dining) was wonderful but as LJ said, it was EMPTY..I've never seen it so empty.

For those who have never been there...think one of Bass Pro's interior (although they are NOT related). It's a huge building with glass on one wall, tin ceilings, and rustic wood furniture. Beautiful wood floors. A piano that is played by a student during meals for entertainment (sometimes they have a trio). They get you when you walk in by walking you by the coffee/pastry bar filled with WONDERFUL looking cakes, pastries, and ice cream.

Dinner was good, but I have to say that we have had better meals (MrC had pot roast MrsC had SW soup). Perhaps because it was so slow. But the cobb salads looked wonderful! In the past MrC and MrsC have had wonderful dinners and lunches at this place.

And yes...leaning to avoid the chins...learned that from LJ and my drivers license showed significant improvement with the technique may I add.

And I'm in for 12-March at Jazz Cafe..10:00 Let's hope for some sunshine!
And who did we think was coming out to visit the area in late March or was it April?
