We're happy to have you hear, and very excited about your upcoming adventure!!! Hopefully you'll settle in an area where you can join the OTFCC and meet the gang!! It's a lot of fun!

Please keep us posted on your progress, ok?

We'll leave the light on....

nevadacrazy is on a distinguished road
Picking up the Uhaul today and leaving by tomorrow noon. I'm guess we should be there sometime Tuesday. Not really sure how many miles we will make a day with a cat and a 7 yr old but we're going to give it all we've got.

Default We're Famous! and May Date?

First DaJammer posted this in the MO forum and I thought you guys would be interested...It's actually about CD and how people are using the internet to find places to live. But they talk about the OTFCC...give it a read.

Columbia Missourian - Where should I live?

And I haven't seen any suggestions for a date in May. I'm going to throw out Wed. May 14th at the French Hen (north Branson).

Any takers? Any other suggestions?

Thumbs up Busier and busier...

I can't believe I've been TOO BUSY to check in on everybody......it's been days & days!

Mrs. C...that's way cool for City Data to get mentioned in that article!

You know I'm never sure if I can make it or not......but I'll surely try. It might be better sometime if it was a little earlier...but I know how all you retired people are...

BTW...I have been working lotsa long days for the past few weeks...if anybody wants to know how the market has been...it's picking up!

That's great news, L J! I'm glad to hear you've been so busy! I hope all that adds up to some $ chi-ching $ in your bank account, too!

It's prob'ly too late for you to see this but just in case you happen to check in while you're on the road, I'll say it anyway...

Relax...enjoy the trip...having arrived one or even two days earlier won't make any difference once you're here...but if you don't enjoy where you are while you're "there", you won't have any great memories once you get where you're going. And trust me...we spend a lot more time "on our way" and less time "arriving" in life...kwim???

Whew! Did that make sense to anyone else? I think I got it right!

Louder, LJ! Louder! Loud enough to be heard way out here, please! (Actually, I think it's sputtering back to life here in this part of CA. Something's GOTTA happen soon! All these OTFCC gatherings are just whizzing right past me ).

I was with ya Mrs G 'til ya got to the "kwim"....I've never told anyone this but I have an affliction...It's called ACS(acronym confusion syndrome)...If everyone spoke in acronyms I would be totally lost...as it is I'm only partially impaired. But the part I understood was so true and so well said. That old saying about taking time to smell the roses is so true...Thanks for the reminder...

Isn't that the greatest news EVER??? OTFCC in an article?!?!?!? That's just so awesome!

As for the date...I'll defer to the others, as I don't think I'll be able to make it. Gas is just so expensive, and we've had some medical expenses come up for our little girl (doggie) Maggi. I'm gonna have to pass on this one.

But, hopefully someone will take some pix so I can see the fun you had!!!

Hip Hip Hooray for LJ!!!! That's wonderful news, girly! And I can't think of a better excuse for you to be MIA. Hopefully you'll be able to sneak us in every once in a while. But, even if you're not here literally, you'll always be here in spirit! *******Big Hugz*******

Eric,

I'm sure LJ will do all she can to help get you here ASAP. I hear realtors have a special 'power' that they can send to each other in the airwaves. Perhaps she can send your realtor a little 'magic' luck, huh? As for the OTFCC gatherings...don't you worry your little head over that!!! We'll have a celebration to beat all celebrations when you get here!!! And then we can have another one when Da Bassman finally gets here. We gotta stick together, right? Yep, don't worry....we will partayyyy the night awayyyyyy..

One Lucky Gal,
Boof

Default Sorry, I've been MIA...

Gosh! We're famous!! WOW! That was a cool article!
Sorry I haven't been around but I've been sick, and trying to make sure that my benefit goes as planned tomorrow. I even did a commercial on the Vacation Channel with a couple pooches from the shelter! They did really good ...Me, I stuttered just a bit, but all in all, it turned out ok.

Would love to see you all at the next meeting,,,whenever it is! I will try my bestest to be there!
By the way, we have a new arrival! barrsgirl and family arrived this week from Tombstone, AZ and the mr. will be preforming at Petstock (see events thread) this Sunday!! If you can come and join us, we would love to see you!!

Awwww, gee Darlin', sorry to hear you've been under the weather. MrsG got something too. Now you 2 just get better, ya hear? We can't have our girls gettin' sick!!!

Boy, we've got another star, huh? Our girl was on TV?? That's great! Can I get an autograph??? hehehehe

Welcome to Barrsgirl and her family!!! Welcome home!!! Hopefully she'll be able to join the OTFCC and meet some of her long lost family.

I'd love to go to the PetStock, but I've got to work. They've got me workin' Sat & Sun. Hopefully not for too much longer tho. Just know I hope the event goes on without a hitch, and everyone has a wonderful time. Please let us know how it goes.

I'm hopin' to get to see ya'll again real soon when the next OTFCC comes to Springfield....as long as I DON'T FORGET!!!! LOLOLOL

TTFN,
Boof
