Finally hit the road around 2 this afternoon. Spending the night right outside of Salt Lake. Definitely taking our time. Think we'll stop for a picnic somewhere tomorrow afternoon. Missing the hubby terribly, he was supposed to be with us on this but I know he's with us in spirit. Have a great night and we'll see ya'll soon!!

Hahahaaaa! ACS! Yer funny, Gregory!!! I'm sorry I lost ya there! KWIM = Know What I Mean??? Oh, SURE...they're ALL easy once they're explained! Hahahaaa! Btw...(By the way) you're reminding me of a funny Monk episode where he learned about what LOL means...and he tried to act cool and said he wanted to " LOL out loud". Hahahaaaaa! It was so cute! ( Did I see you go... ???) Well, it's funnier when you know the Monk character.

Ohhhh, I'm so glad you're enjoying the sights and your time together. I can't imagine making it without my dh so I'll be prayin' for you! Drive careful and don't plan on stopping in Denver if you can avoid it...it can be pretty gnarly...just drive through and keep on goin'...that's my advice! Of course, that'll probably be after lunch unless you get up and out with the chickens... and drive real fast! I figure you might be around Grand Junction, CO by about lunchtime. You're gonna be travelin' through some beautiful country tomorrow...and some serious mountain passes so be sure to have a full tank of gas and backup water for your radiator, too. And for gosh sakes, use those turn-outs (is that what they're called?) and enjoy the view and fresh air!!! I'm feelin' nostalgic and wishin' I could see them again, too!
Don'tcha know God must have had a fun time creatin' those mountains and valleys and gurgling streams! Ahhhh! Memories!

Love a road trip... ...especially with kids & cats...
I hope your fur baby handles the trip better than mine did!
When my lil sis moved she had 4 cats in her van...it was like a rolling litter box. She didn't enjoy the trip too much, sad to say...
Keep us posted! This is fun!

Actually we are coming straight out I80. I wanted to go 70 thru Colorado, been there, used to live in Delta CO, but I knew we could miss most of the passes this way. But I do love those mountains between Junction and Denver. Koda is having a blast for about 3 hours then he's ready to stop for the day. Muffin, the kitty, is riding in the car being towed with his crate and litter box. He must stay awake bouncing all day cause he sleeps most of the night. They are both doing ok but Mommy is having a bad time. Kevin and I have been up and down all of these roads together so it's really tearing me apart. Thanks for the prayers guys. Will be there soon.

Drive Safe. Give us a shout when you arrive. Who knows..you could find a couple of coffee cuppers willing to help you unload. Might cost you a cup of coffee....

Hey Bass Man! Dates in May?
Calibassman...what dates will you be in the area? And what date(s) work best for you? We'll schedule a coffee meet around you...who knows a boat may be volunteered....for drinkin' beer if for nothing else!
Branson is easy to get to from Harrison (I think that is where your going to be located).

Thoughts on OTFCC
Hey MoPeeps. Seems that time constraints are impacting our OTFCC.
Thoughts on setting the date to be the same day (Wed.), the same time
(10:00), and the same week of the month (say the 3rd Wed. of the month)
so MoPeeps can plan better?
That would make the next meeting on May 21st at 10:00.
Would it also be better to meet in Ozark at the same place or to continue to move it back and forth between Hollister, Branson, Ozark, and Springfield?
Or has it become problematic in general and we should disband?
Please provide your thoughts...
