Acreage in christian county
Arent there any homes in the Nixa, Ozark area with acreage? I have been dealing with some real estate agents who just do not listen I guess. I need a home with lots of property. Why? because of this,
My Roxy needs lots of property. She can climb an 8 ft fence.
also we like to ride our quads and race. There has to be something out there for us.

At least 3 acres on one property. For a second property ( my folks) we would like more. 8 and up. I suppose.

She truely is a natural at hunting. To think we got her from a rescue! This dog chases birds, bugs, even the sparks from your camp fire. No lie.
We play hide n seek with kids in the dessert. She alsways finds em.

If you go to extreme northwest portions of the state you'll find some pheasants, but not many. I wish we'd get a stronger population here in the state, they're a blast (pun intended) to hunt.

I'd be happy to keep an eye out for you here in Nixa. Are you looking for vacant land or an existing home on acreage? Let me know what your wish list looks like and I'll try to help out.

What you may find is that the Ozark-Nixa area has gotten very pricey over the past few years. The explosion happened about 13-14 years ago and what EVERYONE wanted was some acreage. You know, you're movin out of the rat race...you want some elbow room! Supply and demand control prices...if everybody wants something it drives the prices up. Now the really nice homes with acreage in the Nixa/Ozark school districts are upwards of half a million. It's become "the" place to live. And as it's grown, it's become less reliant on Springfield for shopping...there's a number of very nice upscale restaurants & specialty stores.
So...in order to get affordable property with acreage you may have to move out just a bit...south and east or west of the Nixa-Ozark corridor. South of Nixa is Highlandville, Spokane, Reeds Spring. West you'll still find affordable home/acreage around Crane, Aurora, Clever. East you might try around Sparta...even Rogersville has become too popular, which again leads to higher prices.
The best thing about being south of Springfield...you've got a big jump on those Springfield folks on Friday afternoons when everybody's headed for the lake!
