Hi all - We are a family of 5 that is about to embark on an amazing journey of living in our motor coach full time as we take a year to tour the county. We start our adventure about December 28th, and we have decided to make Branson our first major stop in our tour of America, and spend New Years eve with you fine folks!

I can go to the many Branson websites and get all the goods on all the tourist things to do for our days in Branson, what I would like to find out is what is going on that is not going to be on the many tourist websites?

Of course we want to experience all the "tourist" stuff, and we will, but we also want to experience more than the average tourist. We are looking to some Branson locals to give us some inside scoop on great things or educational opportunities we can find in Branson, that we won't find on the web.

Thanks!

The Marrs Family

Since it is in the neighborhood, so to speak, you might want to check out what is happening over in Eureka Springs, Ark. They will still have the Christmas decorations up, and if the weather is nice a stroll through downtown might be of interest. I wonder if there is a New Years service at Thorncrown Chapel - Thorncrown Chapel ? A cruise on the Branson Belle might be a fun way to see the old year out - Branson dinner shows and cruises on Table Rock Lake, Branson, Missouri - The Showboat Branson Belle

There may be celebration at the Branson Landing. That would be a great spot to ring in the New Year.
