I am seriously considering a move to SW Missouri. Born and raised in sunny CA. I have alot of reservations, here are some of my concerns: -Weather -Weather _Weather Will I love it there? How is it different from CA? What's better about it? Is it a great place to raise children? Im going to visit soon, any suggestions?

I cant give a whole lot of advice because here I am in Sunny Cali aslo. Lake Junkie sent me a wonderful dvd on the Stone county area. It made up my mind instantly. If you look through the forum on past threads you will learn a whole lot. Ive asked about torandos, storms and critters.. From what ive learned its all about being prepared. Better place to raise children. Without a a doubt in my mind. Schools are less crowded for one. Less crime in Springfield then in S. Cali. Let me just tell you are in good hands here. You will hear the good and the bad.What part are you from?
