Since we will be pinching pennies, especially with an impending wage cut for my husband, we were concerned about property taxes and income taxes. Property taxes are about double in Missouri compared to what we had paid here before I was classified disabled.
Again, many, many thanks for you input.

I certainly want to sell but some times there are just too many hoops to jump through. We shall see what comes next.
She is scheduled to bring another brother and sister-in-law Monday, if their schedules allow, to check things out. I'll be darn if this girl doesn't have a whole slew of siblings. I told her to bring anybody and everyone she wants to the next visit. Since this will be visit four, I am ready for some solid action.
Anyway, if not November, I certainly would love for the offer to extend till I am officially Missouri bound. Do I get a raincheck or are you guys going to make me dance a jig?

I am so beholding to you all. Nuther observation - made long, long ago.
You'uns???? Well down here in the deep south, as is well known, we say YA'LL, as in you all or all of you, to include everyone and not overlook anyone. Lo and behold, here comes You'uns when we visited Missouri. Made me squint my eyes, when they weren't crossed from concentration, scratch my head with wonder and become concerned about my hearing.
Now what the heck was You'uns? You ones! Took me a while to figure this one out. To embarrassed to ask. I made a compromise. I just say "you guys" when in Missouri. But, that certainly will not work here at home.
Just thought you guys (see?) would enjoy a yuck or two at my expense.

I have a question; does it snow as much in the Springfield area as it does in the KC area?
I am considering moving to SW MO. I use to live in Higginsville and Raytown/KC area, where there was always alot of snow.
Thanks for any input!

Texangelwing,
No, the snow is not as bad as the KC area, at least as far as I know. Seems the weather changes around the Springfield area along the I-44 corridor (north of). Can anyone else provide more info?
