Need a doctor references (Springfield, Ozark: gynecologist, 2009, health insurance)

Ok, embarrassing question, but we just moved here and I have no one to ask........I need to find a good gynecologist, dentist, family doctor in Branson. Can anyone give me a few references or at least tell me who NOT to go to?

We've tried two dentists...Gentle Dental in W. Branson and the Barnett Group in Ozark. Gentle Dental IS very gentle...my husband likes them alot. I like the Barnett Group in Ozark...very highly skilled with state of the art equipment.

Can't help with a doctor other than an Orthepedic Surgeon (Dr. Talley if your ever in the need...excellent). We've only been here 6 months and we're looking too. Both a gyn, a internist, and an optomologist is on our "search list".

Vet, I would recommend Dr. Purcell. We've been told by other vet clinics that he is an excellent diagnostical vet. We found him to be very caring and knowledgable.

OK...I know this isn't on your lists...but I've eliminated the need for some of those guys (not the obgyn...) with a great naturopath...Dr. Trybus. He's a chiropractor, does acupuncture, applied kinesiology, and other things like N.E.T. (NeuroEmotionalTechnique).

Of course, if I did everything he said I'd be better off...but hey.
He has helped my allergies with acupuncture, my aching knees & back with chiropractic, various other things with various other treatments including a liver cleanse which helps get rid of hot flashes!!!

As for the others, I like Dr. Benson at the Cox Health Center (on 248) for obgyn.
My dentist is Dr. Nick at the Aux Arcs Dental Center on Hwy 86...he's smart, funny & knows his stuff.
For a GP I use Dr. Mabe at the Skaggs clinic in Hollister. Great doc with a greater P.A. Robin Thurman. And they're cool with the fact that I like to use natural in combination with traditional medicine.

Dr David Afshar is a WONDERFUL Family Dr that I highly recommend! He is in Branson @ Skaggs, on Branson Landing Blvd.

I just switched from Cox to St Johns for my employee-provided health insurance in Jan 2009.
I am meeting my new OB/GYN on Monday, July 27, 09.
Anyone ever heard any negative/postive comments about
Dr. Geoff Stancwyzk(?) at St. John's Smith-Glenn-Calloway Clinic?
