Default McDonald County Secession
Do any of you remember when McDonald County seceded from the state because they were left off a tourist map? Noel was a big tourist destination at the time (1961). I was thinking about it this morning after reading some other posts about SW Missouri. There's some info about it in Wikipedia, titled McDonald Territory.

It may as well be part of AR now as the NWA Metro creeps to the north into Jane and Pineville.
