There's a course adjacent to McBride Elementary. That is Southwest Springfield on Weaver Road. I see plenty of people playing during good weather.

http://www.pdga.com/course/courses_b...&Search=Search
There are those two, and as the link shows, another one on the north side of town called Tom Watkins, in the park with the same name, just south of Kearney and west of Kansas Expressway. It is 18 holes
The best one, IMO, is the one next to McBride. Lots of hills and trees which makes for a challenging course. Watkins has some long holes, but not many trees. Oak Grove isnt too bad, but a bit redundant, IMO. All the holes were pretty much the same, although there are plenty of trees there.
That link above doesnt look right, so just go here and type in zip code 65807, and it will bring up the three courses and a description of each

thanks for the info
Thanks, that's the information I was looking for. His concern was that on the PDGA web site the courses were mostly 9 holes. It's good to hear opinions of which course is generally better. He definitely will be out there checking them out when weather permits. He likes to travel to other courses when he can, work schedule permitting. Thanks for your insights.

According to Disc Golf Monkey - Discgolf Goods - Home Page, at least not at the Recycle Open.
