I'm there.

LJ (and others of course)

Have you tried the bakery that's down fall creek? It's on the right hand side if you're traveling towards Pointe Royale. No idea on the name.

I keep meaning to stop by there, but always forget.

Also, we have a few in the mag that supposedly are bake shops.

Sugar Leaf Treats in Engler Block or LaDella's Sweet Shop & Deli in the Branson Mill.

I believe there might've also been a place opened on Downing St in Hollister, but not entirely sure on that one. Maybe run by someone related to Dino?

If your going up 65 north, turn left onto Sunshine and just past the Waffle House turn left on Ingram Mill. The road sort of winds back a bit and you'll see a car wash on your left. There is no sign for the bakery (there is one on the door only) but it sits between Subway and Mr Yen's. If you pass the car wash, you've gone too far.

Great bread, wonderful bread/cookie sweets. I had a caramel roll for breakfast...yummy. Brought home cranberry-walnut bread that my husband is raving about. We have a french country bread for dinner. The had whole and multigrain breads. Sourdoughs, french bagettes, sweet breads, boule, sandwich breads, etc.

BTW: The greek yogurt at Atkins (?) is better than the brand sold at TJ's. The Fig flavor is wonderful as is the pomagranite.
That bakery sounds wonderful! Thanks, MrsC!

I tried to find the bakery online but wasn't able to find it. However, I did learn that the Subway is at 1830 S. Ingram Mill Road so if someone wants to find it on a map, they can. I also learned that Ingram Mill Road is the first street west of the freeway so they'll be turning left (south) right after the on/offramps. I love great bread and can hardly wait to give them a try!

I haven't tried the Fall Creek Bakery...(I think that's the name)...because I'm just so rarely in that part of town.

I HAVE tried (repeatedly) Dino's 24carrot bakery in old Hollister.
I'm warning you now, don't go.
The carrot cake is absolutely addicting.
Now, when I'm driving along Bus 65 through Hollister I'm drawn like a drug toward it...they serve 7 kinds of cake but I haven't gotten past the carrot.

Dino has been there in person every time...
He's so....

I'm in the same boat. I live off Bee Creek, so I'm never over there, and I never remember to stop by when I am.

One of these days though.

I will say, this thread, coupled by a show I saw on Food Network about Artisan Baking really makes me want to get into it.

Default Dino's....another review.

Well, after sampling the carrot cake at a breakfast buffet recently, I decided I needed to check out Dino's 24K Bakery.

First..I was impressed with the place, updated, clean, a bit classy...didn't look like a "Bakery" per se. They sell the following plus some seasonal cakes*.

Italian Cream Cake , Orange Cream Cake*, Chocolate Fudge Cake,
Carrot Cake, Strawberry Cake*, Coconut Cake,
Red Velvet Cake,
Cinnamon Rolls, Cookies (6 varieties)

Coffee & Tea (no Latte's, Expresso, etc.)

We had a Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast today and I can tell you it was one of the best I've ever had...beats SDC which we love!

You can order on line or if your in the area you can pick up an order form and send them a check.
