Default Reeds Spring area

Looking at the Reeds Spring area...anyone from there ? We are retired. Enjoy MUSIC...I play Autoharp and love jam sessions!
Hubby enjoys woodwork .Looking for an area that has the tourist trade but still small town friendly.
How far is Reeds Spring from Springfield or other area's with good medical facilities.
Have a good day!
Judy

judyinmissouri; Reeds Spring covers a large area and crosses over into Branson West, in this area you are within minutes of Branson, MO. You will find little areas around Reeds Spring, Cape Fair, Branson West, Kimberling City where they have some jam sessions in some of the small restaurants. Being by Branson you will find alot of woodworking and there is tourist trade in all these areas. Springfield is about 35-50 minutes from the Reeds Spring area depending on where you live. Hwy 160 and Hwy 60 is where Cox South Hospital is located. Depending on what hospital you want to go to: Skaggs is in Branson within 30-45 minutes depending on traffic, Cox Hospital is 35-50 minutes away, St John's Hospital is about the same distance in time.

Hope this helps.
