Where is the cheapest place in Branson to eat and still get fed?
I'm looking to get the most food for the buck.

Thanks

Default My suggestion...

If my nephews were here and really hungry, I'd probably suggest the Golden Corral on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway.

Good food, really.

And the biggest bang for your buck PLUS live entertainment in the evening!

Default Bar Food

I guess that depends on what your looking for as far as food. Buffet, sit-down service, finer dining, bar food, etc..

My husband and I have been on the hunt for great bar food and found these:

Bar Louie on the Landing has $1.00 burgers on Tuesdays.
Waxy O'Shea's has 1/2 price appetizers (and drinks/pints) from 4-6 on Fridays.
Liberty Tavern has $5 entree's 4-6 and 10-12 pm midweek.

Ye Olde English Pub has a killer breakfast special for $3.99 with more than enough food for us...whether you call it a lot or not is relative.

In general, I think you get the most food for the $$ at a buffet if your a big eater. But most of the portions around here seem to be pretty big.

Biggest bang-for-the-buck around here has to be Chinese buffets! You can eat to your heart's content for very little money.

Mrschilicook - that's a GREAT list you've put together as well. Some amazing deals for sure!

Ye Ol' English Pub is in historic downtown Hollister. The food is actually quite good. They have music in the pub (next door) on the weekend evenings and "all you can eat" specials (like catfish) on selected nights. We love breakfast there but find the weekend chef to be preferable over the early week chef.

Can't find a listing for a maid rite in this area. However, they could be listed in a different phone book (you need 3-4 phones books in this area to get 'em all). You may want to check their website.
