Nice and warm this morning, very sunny but they keep saying thunderstorms later? My rhododendron is about ready to bloom and the trees are budding-I suspect they will regret it so soon. I really don't want a repeat of last year's late snow that killed all the fruit tree blossoms and my grapes. But they can take the sweet gum balls! The wind is a little strong, but its warm, not biting. Warm, windy with thunderstorms brewing:sounds like possible twister weather to me!

Cold but no snow...
I was looking for that 6-12 inches of snow! Nothing..not a flake...just lots of cold rain and cold wind down here. How'd our friends up north fair?

cold & no snow
We're bummin'.........! We wasted no time getting out of Springfield yesterday after Kurt turned in his resumes- tryin' to beat that icy-snow storm that was coming & nothin'! Kids wanted to check out downtown and a few more things. We were so disappointed. Didn't get a drop here in Columbia either after we got back at 3. Merely cold and windy. But thank goodness for some sunshine.

Is it really coming this time? Weather says it's gonna start snowing down here at 3 oclock and continue until 6 pm tomorrow night? OK... yeah right!
Pretty skeptical this time, so we'll probably get hammered!! We'll see

Anyone need SCUBA equipment out there? Hope you all are managing to stay high and dry. Stay safe.

Most of our rivers are out of their banks. Looks like we will be waiting a while for our plumbing problems to get fixed! Are there any low-water bridges in the Springfield area that flood?

Well, how does that saying go: 'If the good Lord willin' an' tha cricks don't rise'..... Guess what folks, da cricks be arised. Out of their banks as are the rivers around here. 4 hour round trip drive yesterday to Columbia Missouri showed us that!!! So many fields look like swamps. Docks here at our lake have their ramps under water. All of the small wet weather creeks are rain swollen, also. And at this hour, it is still coming down.
Can hear the rain as it hits our sky light in the bedroom. Good sound tho'. Wonderful wet Wednesday to everyone.

Firebll,
Hope your house is way above the flood zone. What's going on with your plumbing? How do your donkeys and horse like all this rain?
Wishing you a sunny day,
Tambre
