Thanks for this information Springfield ...so interesting how Greene County did not vote for Kennedy in 1960...but came back in 1964 and voted for Johnson over Goldwater. I'm guessing Vietnam or Kennedy's assasination had something to do with that because they have never voted Democratic since that time. The split between Republicans and Democrats in that area is a little closer than I had previously thought...interesting...How about Christian County? I'm thinking that must be a very conservative area... |
