You'll need an auto inspection to get plates for your vehicle, but no emissions testing.

Welcome to Missouri Nevadacrazy. Next you'll have to change your handle to Missouricrazy because you will love it! Where abouts in our fair state are you landing?
Good luck with your car tags. Don't forget to bring your insurance card with.

If moving to Springfield, you have to first go to the courthouse and get a "Personal Property Tax Waiver" Next is to get vehicle inspected. They go to DMV place.
At DMV you will need identification like birth certificate, social security card, proof of current address, and proof of insurance.
Not as hard as it seems. Today my wife and I did both of our out of state autos, got new drivers dls and registered to vote.
If you use a contract agent (1534 South Glenstone) be prepared to have local checking or cash. Two today cost 90.00 for 2 (one car, one truck) and 20.00 each for DLs.
Got inspected at Son ray's 1713 E Sunshine at 10AM.
Went round the corner to DOR place.
We both left out before 11:30 all complete.
good luck and hope it goes smooth for you also.

Sounds easy enough. Did you really have to take a written test for your driver's license? I haven't taken that since I was 16.....God I feel old.....

I might be wrong, but I believe you only have to take the eye test (and maybe the road signs?)

Eye test only and signs. Identify 6.
The signs were in the eye test machine.
Very basic.
