Hello,
I have spent the last several days reading these posts. I have found some great information. Thank you!!!

We are planning to relocate to Springfield Missouri from Arizona. We own a open wheel racing team. Sprints and Midgets. And we are looking to go to the next level. So to the midwest we are moving. We picked Missouri because it seems to be centrally located to Ok,IN,Iowa. I have been trolling the internet looking at real estate. And it looks like Missouri will give me the most bang for the buck.

Do I understand correctly s/w, s, or s/e Springfield is the way to go? I need to be sorta in the country but not to far. We will need about 5 ac with a shop. To house the team and the semi and trailer. We were looking at Bolivar but to far of a commute for my husdands line of work. Plus I have heard some not so nice things about the area.

How arethe Springfield schools? Compared to AZ I am sure they are better. But I don't want to move from one crummy system to another!

What about cheerleading gyms? My daughter wanted me to ask.

And finaly if you have any info on racing: open wheel sprints and midgets I would greatly appreciate it.

And any suggestions on a great realitor?

Thanks a bunch

Hey Hitmen

Were you at Manzanita a few weeks back for the Copper on Dirt? I was there with a Silver Crown Team..
If you are planning on Racing USAC you might want to go to Indiana... I 'm not to sure about the open wheel stuff in Mo.
West PLains has a track that runs weekly shows, but I think everything has fenders, The Outlaws use to have it on the schedule, not sure if they still do.
I know there is some ASCS Racing in Oklahoma too.....
I'm no help for midgets sorry....

Yes we were at Manzy. Our driver does not turn 16 till May so we did not run but we were there. Just can not stay away. Plus the world of outlaws last night at Manzy

Yeah, we looked into Indiana. Real estate prices not as good and my husbands job prospects not as good. He works for a major auto dealership group with stores in Missouri, Springfield to be exact.

Thanks though
