I'm wondering if there is any company out here that coordinates part-time or event driven workers for the shows/conventions? When we lived in Las Vegas that was an employment service called "Serve You" that hired folks (mostly retired folks or stay-at-home moms) for specific events like conventions, home/RV type shows, and traveling entertainment venues. You could work as little as one show a month or as much as they could book...it was up to you. The pay was basically minimum wage, but the perk was that you got to see the show or attend the event after/before your actual work began.
Does anyone know of a temp service out here that does that type of thing? I've decided I need a bit more brain stimulation but don't want to work fulltime or part-time unless it's seasonally limited (can't interfer with travel). Would really rather work a few days here and there if I can find something. |

You and I are definitely on the same page. When we move to Saddlebrooke I will be looking for something part time with some stimulation. Having the option of saying yea or nay when called to work is a real plus...and working with people in almost any capacity is always stimulating. I will be interested to hear if that is a possibility. Thank you mrscc. for reaching out in that direction. I will happily follow in your foorsteps!

How much money do you have? ![]() OK I must confess that I didn't make that particular map. It can be done, relatively easy, however, by opening google earth, adding "Pushpin" references, where ever you like, and then taking a "snapshot" of your page. You can then send it email or save it as a file. Specific instructions are on the goggle earth website. Anyone can do it, even YOU!! |

Thanks Darlynn0217 for the info. Ah yes, Google Earth, that bully program that makes fun of my elderly PC's weak video capabilities. I'll take a closer look when I get my new PC with video on steroids!
