How can Springfield motels have become so expensive. The cheapest. is from $ 80 a night. Even woodspring suites a month $ 1350 one bedroom. And Arbor suites at the mall before corona $ 1000 a month. Now $ 2500. Have they gone crazy. They are taking advantage of the Corona.

check out choicehotels.com. decent places for $55.00 plus tax tonight. Probably a bit more on weekends. Nice deals too with them for being a member.

About 18 years ago I was thrown out of my apartment for not being able to pay the rent. I found a $400 a month motel and lived there for a few months until I could get the housing problem fixed. It was not a good experience. Lots of vagrants and transients lived there. Realize that cheap rates also mean cheap clientele. One night after work I was snoozing and abruptly awakened by a ruckus next door. I opened the door and the whole upper deck was swarming with police officers. The dude next door was cuffed and shackled and being carried off. Turns out he was cooking meth in the room's bathtub.
