Fordland market or other places for rabbits? (St. Louis, Joplin: purchase, food)

Good morning! Long time listener, first time caller...


I am looking for information on a possible farmers market, or flea market... I'm not even sure what! But it is supposed to be held in Fordland on the last Saturday of the month. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Alternately... would anyone know of where I would be able to purchase rabbits? Not pet-grade, but I am looking for a breeder that I can purchase from in order to feed some other animals I have. The breeder I was using has stopped breeding rabbits and I have kind of been left in a bind!

I am in the Branson area (Kirbyville, to be exact) but anything within an hour or hour and a half's drive would work for me.

What kind of critters are you feeding? I'm including a link to some people who purchase mice, rats and rabbits for their collection. I'm sure if you e-mail or call them they can give you their source. Reptile World is just outside Joplin, so the supplier can't be too far away. Hope this helps!
