Is that JD in the picture? At first, I thought he might be whittlin' but then I looked closer and it looks like he's got a cell phone in his hand. Hahahaaa!

I hope you're able to sell your AR home quickly! What a stressful time it must be. Do you have two mortgage payments? How far do you have to drive to get back and forth? Where in AR is your other home?

I hope you're able to spend some quality time in your new home. By the looks of it, it would be a dream home for many people! Congratulations, again!

Thanks MrsG. The house we are selling is in NW corner of
Arkansas, right smack dab in the middle of walmart country. It's about a 2 hr drive from here and yes, we do have 2 mortgages. Yep, that's a cell phone in his hand. If I'm not mistaken the day the pic was taken we were waiting on our beautiful, fantastic real estate lady to meet us there. Right now I'm out on workmans comp from work so hoping the next OTFCC meeting is while I'm still off. Can't wait to meet everyone!

Well have been doing some catching up here. I have had the worst luck in the computer department. I finally got a new PC. Love it!!! Finally broke down and got broadband. Yes I still live in the only connection to the web, ugly dial up...... Wow what a change. There have been a lot of ups and downs here and I am glad for the most part all are doing well. Hope everyone is having a great week.

Well, first of all I'm sorry that I haven't been on lately. Cancer has focused my attention elsewhere.

However, it seems that the current schedule of one month in Branson/Hollister and one month in Springfield/Ozark sort of fits the schedule unless everyone really wants TWO groups.

So, I propose the following:

October was Ozark
November Branson
December...Pizza and Beer in Springfield for Xmas cheer
January/February No meetings (we cancelled 'em last year due to weather)
March: Ozark
April: Branson/Hollister
May: Dinner in Springfield

Or if someone wants to take over a Springfield Coffee Club that okay with me too.

I think we actually skipped October...or I just didn't know about it and I skipped it. Wasn't it September that we got together in Ozark? ; )

I hope you're doing well with your cancer treatments. We've missed you around here. I know I sure have. Welcome back!

And how about these sort of guidelines...

If people can only make it to one or the other, that's okay. And if bad weather happens, we should plan on coming back to the website to see if the meeting is canceled. And everyone who is planning on coming should post it here in the forum so we'll know to look out for each other...and hopefully, we won't have any more of those times that happened to you when you showed up and the other couple showed up without letting us know. They looked for a group and only you managed to make it and you didn't know to look for them. And even though you were there at the same time, you never connected.

How does all that sound?
