I'll do my best to make it to the Springfield meetings My hubby and I just bought a 2nd car for me so I have something to drive!!!
But until after Christmas we have no money to go places, lol, so I still won't be able to go to other meetings, just springfield ones.

Hooray, Erdnuss!
Hey, I've just had an idea! If'n ya want to, we can carpool to the Branson meetings if you can make it down to Ozark. Boof and I used to do that and it makes the trip down so much fun! We sometimes made a day of it, goin' to lunch or antique shopping. She hasn't been around the forum much these days so I don't know if she will able to attend as often. I know she's interested in coming to the Springfield ones but am not sure about Branson. She lives in Marshfield so that's pretty far to go.
Just so you know, there's no obligation to buy a thing so you can just come to hang with us. Anyway, if you're interested in going together, send me a Direct Message, okay? I usually plan to attend all of the meetings but if the weather is bad or something else comes up, I don't. And yes, the money is sometimes an issue for me, too.
I'm so excited you're planning on joining us!

"Hi kids!"
Thought of you many times this year ... miss the forum, but things have been crazy.
Busy, busy ... with too little time.
Flew over you guys four time this year -via Delta into Atlanta.
First trip I took a picture of the railyard in Springfield ... from 32000 ft. - Mrs, and I took a cruise outta Flori-DAH. Just beat Hurricane Gustav back through the Gulf.
Second trip we added our son ... on our trip to TALLADEGA ! Yeah, yeah ... TS won, but only because Carl screwed up.
'Dega Baby !!!
Hope all the coffee clubbers are well!
Wesley

Well, we're just glad you're back, escapee! (Or shall I say, "Wesley"? ) Life does have a way of getting in our way! (What did I just say? Did that make any kind of sense at all???) Hahahaaa!
So what caused you to be such jet setters this year? Btw, I tried to take pictures of Springfield before landing this year and the flight attendant told me that I had to put my camera away.
Anyway, we're glad you remembered us. You'll have to give us a little update when you get a chance.

Wha'd'ya say?
Hi, ya'll!
If my memory serves me correctly, tomorrow would be the usual date for our little coffee gathering. We haven't set a particular location, yet. It's apparent how lost we are without our illustrious leader, MrsChiliCookoff. Hey, MrsC, know that we miss you and are praying for you, okay?
Anyway, I know we have a chance of drizzle or light rain tomorrow and since we haven't had time to chat about it, I think we should move it to next week (Wednesday, Nov. 19th, say about 11am?). That is, if we have anyone who is interested and can come to it. So, let's hear from all of you. Let us know whether you think you can attend so we can get a head count. I don't want to drive all the way down to Branson only to learn that no one else showed up, even though a delicious steaming cup of coffee would soothe my ruffled feathers.
If another day would work better for you, let us know. Maybe others will agree. I would appreciate knowing by tomorrow since I'll be setting up my work schedule on Thursday morning. I still have tomorrow off since I scheduled it, assuming we'd be meeting, so if anyone still wants to meet tomorrow, we can. Another thing to consider is if all the attendees are in the Springfield area, we can always change the location.
I've given a lot of different ideas here. I hope you can sift through it all and figure out how to respond. Actually, let me try to summarize:
1. Want to meet tomorrow or next week?
2. If next week, want to meet on Wednesday or another day?
3. Can you make it at all?
4. Are you from the Branson area?
5. If you want to meet tomorrow, be sure to tell where you are so we can figure out where to meet. I'm in the Ozark area.
6. A new thought I forgot above...if we meet in Branson, would anyone like to carpool from Ozark with me?
That oughta give you plenty to think about. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you!

HI, everybody! I'd like joining you for Springfield meetings. Unfortunately I don't have opportunity to drive to Branson because I and my husband have only one car now.

NOV and DEC and I'm still here...
Well, I'm still here but I've been having trouble with CD and AOL so haven't been able to post. I finally changed computers.
The reguarly scheduled OTFCC would be the 19th (3rd Wed. of the month).
I had suggested Branson at the French Hen at 10:00 but I can't find the post so I'm assuming it was posted during a CD-AOL issue day.
I also suggested that we perhaps plan a Springfield or Ozark Christmas get-together (dinner?) in December around the 10th (date is selfishly suggested as it's the day before my #3 chemo).
Thoughts?

Hooray! MrsC's back!
So good to see you, MrsC!
I'm in for the 19th at 10am even though I wish it was a bit later. As for the suggested gathering on Dec. 10th, we usually do the evening/bigger events on a weekend. I suggest a Saturday afternoon or else on the Friday night that we usually have done it on. Now, if you and others are "game", we can have it the weekend before your chemo, which would be the 6th or 7th. Does that sound good?
Whatever day it's on, I don't have any big plans so I'm flexible...and willing!
Hugs!
Susan
